Preserving Icons. Crafting Legends.
At American Legacy Vehicles, we see every Jeep as part of someone’s story, with memories wrapped up in the sound of the engine, the feel of the shifter, and the smell of old vinyl on a hot day. Our team of longtime Jeep guys has spent decades in the AMC era world, buying, selling, restoring, and servicing hundreds of classic Jeeps, mostly CJs, and we take pride in every detail.
Mission
To preserve and elevate Jeep’s heritage while creating vehicles that are truly usable and enduring. We deliver collector-grade vehicles that can be driven, enjoyed with family, used for real life, and ultimately passed down as modern heirlooms.

Our Heritage
At ALV, every build connects the past with the present. We don’t just restore Jeeps — we preserve a cultural icon that has carried generations through adventure, freedom, and exploration. Here’s a look at key milestones in Jeep’s history alongside ALV’s own journey.
Our Heritage
The Willys MB was designed as a lightweight, rugged vehicle to support troops during World War II. Its durability and adaptability made it an essential tool on the battlefield, helping soldiers move through the harshest terrain. Over time, it became far more than just military equipment — it transformed into a symbol of resilience, freedom, and unity. Jeep’s story begins here, setting the stage for one of the most iconic automotive legacies in history.
The Civilian Jeep (CJ-2A)
After the war, Jeep transitioned into civilian life with the introduction of the CJ-2A. This model allowed everyday drivers to access the same unmatched capability that soldiers relied on, making off-road exploration a reality for farmers, adventurers, and families alike. It was durable, practical, and accessible — a true workhorse that also inspired recreational use. With the CJ-2A, Jeep became not only a tool but a lifestyle, embedding itself into culture as a brand of adventure and independence.
Jeep CJ-7 Debuts
In 1976, Jeep unveiled the CJ-7, a vehicle that perfectly balanced rugged performance with comfort and versatility. It offered a longer wheelbase, improved handling, and more customization options, appealing to a wider audience of drivers. Off-road enthusiasts praised its capability, while casual owners appreciated its usability in daily life. To this day, the CJ-7 is remembered as one of the most iconic Jeep models, a perfect representation of freedom on four wheels.
ALV Founded
ALV was born out of a passion for preserving Jeep heritage while adapting it for modern drivers. Starting in a small workshop, the founders dedicated themselves to meticulous restorations that honored originality without sacrificing reliability. Their work quickly attracted attention for its authenticity and craftsmanship. From the very beginning, ALV set out not only to restore vehicles but to safeguard the spirit of Jeep as a cultural icon.
First International Client Build
Just three years after opening, ALV shipped its first completed restoration overseas. This project marked the company’s entry into the global stage, proving that its craftsmanship was valued far beyond local borders. International clients trusted ALV to deliver Jeeps that were not just restored but elevated with precision and care. This milestone laid the foundation for a worldwide reputation of excellence and reliability.
Landmark Golden Eagle Build
In 2015, ALV completed a full restoration of the Jeep CJ-7 Golden Eagle, one of the most iconic editions of its time. The build drew significant attention from collectors and Jeep enthusiasts around the world. Every detail, from the bold eagle decal to the authentic interior, was carefully brought back to life. This project showcased ALV’s ability to handle rare and complex builds, solidifying its reputation as a leader in Jeep restoration.
Award-Winning Restorations
By 2021, ALV’s work was being recognized on a national scale. Several restored Jeeps were showcased at major automotive events, earning awards for both authenticity and craftsmanship. These honors confirmed what clients already knew: ALV was not just another restoration shop but a true guardian of Jeep heritage. Each award represented years of dedication, skill, and passion for keeping the Jeep story alive.
Custom Build Division
Recognizing the growing demand for personalization, ALV launched a dedicated custom build division in 2023. This new branch allowed clients to create one-of-a-kind Jeeps tailored to their vision, blending heritage with innovation. Whether it was modern performance upgrades, bespoke interiors, or unique paint schemes, the team delivered builds that were both authentic and deeply personal. This expansion demonstrated ALV’s commitment to evolving with Jeep culture while staying true to its roots.
Preserving Icons, Building Dreams
Today, ALV continues to serve as a bridge between past and present. From rare originals to ambitious custom projects, every Jeep that leaves the workshop is built with respect for history and an eye toward the future. The company’s mission is not only to restore vehicles but to keep the spirit of freedom, adventure, and durability alive for generations. ALV remains a trusted name for Jeep enthusiasts worldwide, preserving icons while building dreams.
